The Characteristics section allows users to define core attributes that shape a character's identity, such as personality traits, appearance, and background. This section provides the foundation for how the character interacts with the virtual world and other AI agents, helping to create a more dynamic and engaging application experience.
In the Character Story section, you can craft your character’s backstory, circumstances, significant life events, and how they fit into your application. In the Identity text area, you should input key details about their character's core traits, such as their name, origin, background, and any defining features or roles that establish who they are within the application. Use evocative and descriptive language when writing a character's Identity, instead of straightforwardly listing information. This enables the AI to create a smooth narrative around the character and their background, allowing it to interpret descriptions, visualize the character, and generate a dynamic representation.
In the Appearance text area, users should provide a brief description of their character's physical traits, including details such as their clothing, notable features, hair and eye color, and overall look. This will help the AI reference and understand its own appearance as it is portrayed in the application.
In the Character Assets section, you’ll find two subsections: Abilities and Equipment. To add details about your character's abilities or equipment, simply click on the empty tab in either section to open a modal.
In the modal above and below, you can input specific information about the character’s abilities, such as special powers or skills. This helps customize how the character interacts with their virtual environment and other AI agents.
Once you've entered the details for an ability, you can further enhance the item by adding a visual representation. You have the option to generate an image by entering a prompt into DALL-E. Hover over the image to regenerate or edit prompt.
You also have the option to upload an image from your computer.
The Equipment modal is very similar to that of the Abilities modal. You can input specific information about the character’s equipment, such as their weapons, tools, and materials of the equipment.
In the Profile section, you can define your character's personality and preferences by entering up to 10 tags in each of the provided fields. These fields include Character Traits, Likes, Dislikes, and Fears, allowing you to shape your character’s behavior, motivations, and reactions. Use these tags to help the AI better understand how your character should interact with the application and other users.
This section defines the character who the character is, influencing their personality and emotions. Here, you can use sliders to modify their emotional state and overall temperament.
In the Voice section, you can personalize your character’s voice using advanced settings powered by ElevenLabs. Choose from various voice presets and fine-tune the character’s voice with adjustable controls like Stability, Similarity, Style Exaggeration, and Speaker Boost. These options help you create a voice that perfectly aligns with your character’s persona and enhances the in-app experience.
In the Strengths & Weaknesses section, you can create custom strengths and weaknesses for your character using the input fields. Once added, you can fine-tune each attribute by adjusting sliders to set the intensity of the strength or weakness. This allows for more dynamic character development, shaping how these traits impact user experience and interactions.
